Johannes Brahms personally destroyed virtually the whole of his early output.  His piano arrangement of the famous Rácóczi March is one of the few exceptions – a lucky stroke for all those who wish to form an acquaintance with the young Brahms.  The present edition adds a brilliant and impassioned work to the pianist’s repertoire.
